INTECON is seeking a full-time Fielding/Transition Team Technician in Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. This position will support the CIP-CSLA program. This position will support the fielding of COMSEC Management Software/Key Management Infrastructure Hardware and Software. This position will enhance the Tier 2 CST Help Desk in managing COMSEC material, INFOSEC, AKMS, ECMS, KMI and assisting with the annual GIPC.

Job Description:

  • Technicians will have a general knowledge of COMSEC policy/procedures, EKMS operations as outlined in AR 380-40 and TB 380-41, and a general knowledge of computers.
  • Answer and respond to telephone calls as they relate to all CSLA functional areas, with a focus on fielding updates of COMSEC materiel software and hardware.
  • Excellent Communications skills and customer rapport.
  • Issue Cryptographic Product and Import Keys as requested.
  • Locally generate and record Keys issued.
  • Track Army COMSEC Material.
  • Assist Army CAMs and their respective units in the implementation and interpretation of Army policy AR 380-40 and procedures related to COMSEC account operation.
  • Provide on-site technical and logistical assistance for CSLA managed IA products including Communications Security (COMSEC) key/equipment, and Information Security (INFOSEC) systems and material.
  • Help with the Army Key Management System (AKMS) and Local COMSEC Management Software (LCMS).
  • Assist CLSA in the coordination and facilitation of the annual Global INFOSEC Partnership Conference (GIPC).
  • Provide field-level logistics coordination, installation, and maintenance concept support of IA products.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active DOD Secret (or above) Security Clearance.

Certification Requirements:

  • Possess or have the ability to obtain Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) A+, Security+, Network+, International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC) 2 System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) course or other DOD 8570.1M certifications.

Education requirements:

  • GED or High School Diploma required, Associates or Bachelors degree is desired.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Three or more years of relevant experience.
